Bowerbirds are an American folk five-piece who formed in 2006. The band – consisting of Beth Tacular, Phil Moore, Dan Westerlund, Leah Gibson and Mark Paulson – create their leafy folk-pop with a combination of guitars, accordions, piano, marimba and violins.
Bowerbirds' debut album ‘Hymns For A Dark Horse’ was released in 2007 and a second release ‘Upper Air’, in 2009. Following a headline tour - with support Dry the River - at a handful of dates in America and Canada in March 2012, the band will showcase tracks from their third album ‘The Clearing’ at Cargo, London on 7th May.
