New York Dolls, the veteran glam-rock punks will play a one-off gig at the HMV Forum on 4th December and the date comes on the back of an intimate gig at 100 Club last month. The band who reformed in 2004, are down to two original members, flamboyant singer David Johansen and guitarist Sylvain Sylvain, since bassist Arthur Kane passed away. New album ‘Cause I Sez So’, was released in May and saw the legendary band reuniting with producer Todd Rundgren. The setlist from the punk pioneers should include vintage ‘Trash’, the punk-stonker ‘Personality Crisis’, as well as new tracks such as ‘Lonely So Long’, ‘This Is Ridiculous’ . Supporting will be The Urban Voodoo Machine. New York Doll tickets are on sale now.
