The Godfathers, the legendary British rock ‘n’ roll band celebrate 25 years since their formation in 1985 by announcing details of a Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre concert in London next year and their first German tour in over a decade in December ’09. The Godfathers will headline ULU in Malet Street, London on Sunday February 14th 2010 with special guests. The London band’s famed Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre concerts have become an integral part of the rock ‘n’ roll calendar since the group’s inception, with fans travelling from around the world to catch their incendiary live show.
The Godfathers reformed their original line-up in 2008 to perform a triumphant Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre at the HMV Forum (voted the best concert of 2008 by Music-News.com) and released a vastly expanded 2 CD version of their classic debut album ‘Hit By Hit’, to significant critical acclaim. In February 2009 The Godfathers played their first ever American Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre with a knock out performance at The Metro in Chicago. The band are currently writing material for a brand new album – their first studio album since ‘Afterlife’ in ’95 - to be released sometime next year. The Godfather tickets are on sale now.
