Reamonn are a German band fronted by energetic Irishman Rea Garvey. Formed in 1999 the five-piece have released six albums, though it was 2006’s ‘Wish’, album that has led to worldwide tours with the likes of Status Quo and A-ha.
Reamonn have been busy, as well as bagging a support slot with Britain’s best-loved rockers their wide-ranging appeal has also seen them collaborate with R’n’B songstress Nelly Furtado. They’ve also performed for a chap called Barack Obama in what is yet another high-profile endorsement. See the quintet at The Borderline on 27th February.
