Delorean are a Barcelona-via-Zarautz quartet whose uniquely Mediterranean sound has made them one of Spain's most popular independent bands. Taking cues from Spain’s native Balearic beat, Madchester house, techno, R&B and indie rock, Delorean carves out a sunny sweet spot between the stage and the dance floor.
Diamond Rings was created by musician John O to house the charisma and personality of an artist too big for just one band or one person. A cross between the large fonted flash of 1990s and the overt glamour of the 1970s, Diamond Rings casts a jubilant rainbow over a washed out West Toronto landscape. The first Diamond Rings 12" single 'Show Me Your Stuff' is an unabashed track designed for the radio playlists of another era and is built around a buoyant Chicago House influenced piano riff and deep vocals.
Delorean will play their synth-pop dance tunes alongside Diamond Rings and The Cabin Fever Upstairs at the Relentless Garage on 1st July as part of NME Radar Live.
