Franz Ferdinand, the Scottish art-rockers will play the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on March 9th as part of their 2009 tour. The foursome released their third studio album, ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’, on January 26th which was preceded by single ‘Ulysses’ on the 19th. Expect to hear Alex Kapranos and co play older classics such as the indie-tastic hits ‘Take Me Out’, ‘The Dark Of The Matinee’ and ‘Darts Of Pleasure’ and of course the new Bowie-esque material which, incidently possibly heralds the first album to incorporate the use of human bones as a percussive instrument.
